The Yamaha 150HP Jet Outboard is the maximum horsepower in the jet drive series. The 150hp jet drive outboard motor features a four-stroke internal combustion engine, boasting a powerful 150hp output and a propellerless design, delivering excellent performance in shallow waters. If you are a boat owner who frequently operates in extremely shallow waters, beaches, riverbeds, or rocky areas, choosing a jet drive marine motor is the wisest choice.

The ship is propelled forward by the reaction force of the high-speed water jet ejected by the propulsion pump in the waterjet propulsion device, and the carrier is manipulated by changing the direction of the jet. The jet boat motor has no propeller, and the impeller is inside the pump casing.

Unlike propeller outboard motors, although the Yamaha 150HP Jet Drive Outboard has a rated power of 150 horsepower, due to inherent losses, its actual output is only 105 horsepower. Despite this power loss, it boasts excellent low-speed torque and powerful instantaneous jet thrust.

Furthermore, the reverse gear guide bucket of the jet boat motor has been upgraded, resulting in more precise steering and reversing at low speeds, eliminating the difficulty of turning around at low speeds. Compared to lower-horsepower models, the higher-horsepower jet boat engine offers more stable operation in complex waters, not only unaffected by challenging environments but also capable of sustained high-intensity operation.
