What Is An Outboard Motor 2 Stroke Yamaha?
Outboard Motor 2 Stroke Yamaha offers greater explosive power and has a simpler structure, making it relatively easier to maintain. If you want a lightweight outboard motor with fast acceleration, then a two-stroke outboard engine is the perfect choice. However, it's important to remember that two-stroke outboard motors use fuel oil, while four-stroke outboard motors use lubricating oil; the two should not be mixed.

Product Advantages
The advantages of the Yamaha two-stroke engine are as follows: powerful performance, light weight, easy maintenance, and good price.
① Powerful And With Rapid Acceleration:
The crankshaft of all two-stroke outboard engines performs one cycle of work per revolution. Under the same displacement, two-stroke outboard engines have a faster acceleration rate than four-stroke outboard engines and are more suitable for applications that require frequent starting and rapid acceleration.
② Lightweight, Compact, And Portable, Taking Up Little Space:
The structure of two-stroke outboard engines is simple, and they are lighter in weight, making them very convenient to carry and transport. If the boat owner needs to frequently move the engine, choosing a two-stroke outboard engine is definitely the right choice.
③ Simple Structure, Easy Maintenance:
As mentioned earlier, the structure of a two-stroke outboard engine is simple. A simple structure means fewer failure points and higher reliability. Even if maintenance is required, anyone with a basic understanding of mechanical principles can handle the repair.
④ Higher Cost-Effectiveness:
The price of two-stroke outboard motors is more affordable compared to four-stroke outboard motors. For newcomers just starting out or boat owners with tight budgets, two-stroke outboard motors are a very cost-effective choice.
Applicable Vessel Types
● Small Inflatable Boats And Portable Assault Boats
The majority of outboard engines are installed on inflatable boats and portable assault boats, with the boat lengths ranging from 2.5 meters to 4.5 meters. Since inflatable boats and assault boats both require manual transportation, lightweight two-stroke outboard engines are well-suited to the requirements. At the same time, two-stroke outboard engines can be rotated 360 degrees or placed at an angle, thus not occupying too much space in the trunk.
● Hard-Bottomed Leisure Boats And Small Fiberglass Vessels
Small aluminum or fiberglass boats with lengths ranging from 4.5 meters to 6 meters are also the target vessels for two-stroke outboard engines. The two-stroke engine's acceleration capability is particularly advantageous during the starting phase. Even when fully loaded, it can push the boat onto the running surface more quickly.
● Commercial And High-intensity Operation Vessels
Vessels such as fishing boats, transportation ships, and scenic area ferry boats are also well-suited for two-stroke outboard engines. This is because of their low purchase cost, low failure rate, quick maintenance, and greater appeal to the operators of working vessels.
How To Properly Start An Outboard Motor?
• Insert the emergency stop rope. For internal fuel tanks, open the fuel tank switch or fuel tank cap and loosen the air intake valve. For external fuel tanks, connect the fuel tank and outboard motor according to the fuel line arrow, then loosen the air intake valve on the fuel tank cap and fill the tank with fuel.
• Pull out the choke or pull it to 50%, reduce the throttle to 20%-30%, and quickly pull the start rope 3-5 times. If it does not start normally, wait 20 minutes and repeat the operation, or push the choke forward and increase the throttle until it starts.
(Note: Do not pull out the choke when starting the engine while it is warm.)
• To shut down the engine, reduce the throttle to the minimum position, and press the engine stop button.
(Note: Pressing the engine stop button while the engine is running at high speed will make it difficult to restart.)
