• Driving habit optimization‌: Avoid long-term short-distance driving. High-speed driving can help burn off electrode carbon deposits.

• Check the appearance. If the spark plug electrode is black and covered with carbon deposits, or there are oil stains or white burn marks on the ceramic body, a short circuit fault may occur. In addition, if the side electrode is deformed or the ceramic insulator is cracked, it needs to be replaced immediately.

• Abnormal performance,If the engine is started and immediately shut down multiple times, insufficient ignition power will affect the engine. If the engine shakes violently and the power is slow, the spark plugs need to be replaced to affect the normal operation of the engine.

• If the vehicle stalls intermittently and fuel consumption increases while it is driving, it needs to be checked and replaced.

• Remove the old spark plug, use an air gun to blow away the dust around the spark plug, unplug the high-voltage wire in order, use the spark plug sleeve to loosen it counterclockwise, pull out the old spark plug vertically, and then install the new spark plug.

• Check whether the electrode gap of the new spark plug meets the requirements, apply a small amount of high-pressure silicone grease on the thread to enhance the sealing, first screw it into the thread clockwise, make sure there is no resistance, then tighten it with a wrench, and then use a torque wrench to tighten it to 25-30 cm.

• Start the engine, observe whether the idle speed is stable, and confirm that there is no ignition abnormality.
