• Regular inspection and proper cleaning;

• Do not use water or diesel or gasoline to clean the paper filter element. Otherwise, the pores of the filter element will be blocked, increasing air resistance;

• When you find that the filter element is damaged, or the upper and lower surfaces of the filter element are not flat, or the rubber sealing ring is aged, deformed or damaged, you should replace the new part;

• During installation, pay attention that the gaskets or sealing rings at each joint must not be missed or wrongly installed to avoid air short circuit;

• Do not tighten the butterfly nut of the filter element too tightly to prevent damaging the filter element;

• Clean the dust on the filter screen regularly with diesel or gasoline;

• Before assembly, soak the filter screen in engine oil. After the excess oil has drained off, proceed with the assembly. When assembling, align the cross-shaped frames on the filter screen disc of the pie-shaped filter screen and ensure that the inner and outer rubber rings of the filter screen are well sealed to prevent air short circuit;
